- Rangabali is a 2023 Telugu-language action comedy drama film directed by Pawan Basamsetti and produced by Suresh Babu under the banner of Suresh Productions. The film stars Naga Shaurya, Shine Tom Chacko, Yukti Thara, Satya, Brahmaji, Sapthagiri, and Murali Sharma. The music is composed by Pawan CH and the cinematography is handled by Divakar and Vamsi.
The film tells the story of Shaurya (Naga Shaurya), a young man who loves to show off. He is always the center of attention in his small town of Rajavaram. However, when he goes to medical college in Vizag, he finds himself out of his depth. He is not as smart or as talented as the other students, and he starts to feel like a failure.
One day, Shaurya meets Sahaja (Yukti Thara), a beautiful and intelligent girl. Sahaja is everything that Shaurya is not. She is smart, talented, and successful. Shaurya is instantly smitten with her, but he knows that he has no chance with her.
However, Shaurya is determined to win Sahaja’s heart. He starts to study harder and he becomes more involved in social causes. He also starts to stand up to the bullies who are picking on him.
Eventually, Shaurya’s hard work pays off. He wins Sahaja’s heart and he also finds his own self-worth. He realizes that he does not need to show off to be happy. He can be happy just being himself.
Rangabali is a mixed bag. It has some good moments, but it also has some flaws. The film’s first half is quite entertaining. The comedy is well-done and the characters are likable. However, the second half of the film is quite slow and the plot becomes a bit convoluted.
